What a fag...

This is a story about lobbying and consumer society... Nick Naylor, the anti-hero, is the chief spokesman for Big Tobacco; he earns his living defending the rights of smokers and cigarette makers in today's American society.

Firms pay public relations people like Nick to promote and sell their products. The real quality or impact on health of their goods is often hidden. In a way, firms and professional liars like Nick kill people to make money... The main aim of this film is to make people aware that advertising can be misleading.

This film is worth seeing because the message makes sense; the story is well written and well played, appealing to the emotions as much as to the spectators’ intelligence. And, believe it or not, it’s funny!

Beg, borrow or steal a copy of the DVD!
