Caroline Fayel's dream job

I dream that one day I will become an estate agent...

When I was younger, I dreamt, like a lot of young girls, of becoming a hairdresser… After, I longed to become a florist. With time, my dreams have changed and I don't see myself staying indoors all day or doing the same thing day-in-day-out.

During my second year of high school, I did a week’s internship in an estate agent’s office. It was a revelation; this was the job for me!

The estate agent trusted me and considered me as a real professional. I didn't just stay in the office to sort out letters or make photocopies, I made visits, took photos, described the houses, etc. It was perfect for me. I didn't want to go back to school!

After high school, I want to study to become an estate agent. Maybe, if I can, I will stay in Aurillac for two years in order to do a “DUT Gea” course and, after, I hope to go to a big city for a specialized “Licence” course in real estate management.

As I have a project, I will try to do everything to be able to achieve my aim. But, when one knows what one wants to do, motivation comes easily.

To be a good estate agent, one needs to have good listening skills, to be available at short notice, to be well organized, and, obviously, to be well-dressed and very convincing. Do I not already have all these qualities?!

I will achieve my dream!
