Do you like movies that, when the screen goes blank at the end, make you say: “What the…?!” I have just what you need! If you haven’t seen one of these three movies, then go to a video club because they, my friends, are going to blow your mind:
The Prestige
The Prestige
This movie, directed by Christopher Nolhan, tells the story of two magicians: Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden (Christian Bale). The story takes place in London. Alfred Borden and Robert Angier are two very talented magicians. Since they were kids they have always been in a competition with each other. But when Angier’s wife drowns while trying to escape from a Chinese water torture cell during a performance, he accused Borden of bounding her wrists with a knot that was too difficult to untie. At that moment, they become arch rivals in their careers as magicians.
This movie is going to torture your mind to find who’s playing who. The roles are always reversed, and you’d better pay attention to what you see! Because it’s all about illusion, don’t forget you are in a magicians’ world!
Inception
This movie is so interesting that you’re not going to be able to take your eyes from the screen. The cast is perfect, the atmosphere is intense and the story is just awesome! You can’t get bored! And what happens at the end? You’re going to love hating it!
Shutter Island
And last but not least, a thriller directed by Martin Scorsese (The Master of the genre) which is going to turn your brain upside down! The movie takes place in 1954, when Marshal Teddy Daniels and his partner Chuck Aule are sent to investigate a disappearance in a psychiatric hospital on Shutter Island. The most dangerous people are committed there. And, because of a storm, the partners are forced to stay on the island to investigate with a staff that is not really very cooperative…
This movie made me hold my breath for more than an hour, seriously! You are transported on this island with DiCaprio and you do believe you could get committed to the asylum after watching it! But don’t be afraid… Just be prepared to sleep with the lights on for one or two nights! I’m (not) just kidding…
Well, if you still don’t know what to watch on Saturday nights, you know what to do now!

Hello everybody! I would add a movie I saw long ago: Memento. It is also a movie directed by Christopher Nolan in 2000. I give you the summary from the website IMDB:
"A man, suffering from loss of short-term memory, uses notes and tattoos to hunt for the man he thinks killed his wife."
I saw this movie several times and I like the construction of this film and the actors.
