Keep talking... (clickonmoi!)

Do you want to impress someone (like a member of the examination jury), to show them what a witty, clever, imaginative, creative, sociable, sensitive person you are, and that you have outstanding communication skills (do not forget to smile and look 'em straight in the eye)?! Then here are a few ideas for conversation topics to prepare!

  • What will you be doing in 10 or 20 years’ time?

  • Have you been abroad (describe your trip and what you got out of it)?

  • Are you a member of an association (describe how you have helped it achieve its goals)?
  • Who is your favourite film director / author / playwright / artist / singer / composer / photographer / architect / historical figure / famous figure / person, etc?

  • If you were a place / object / time of day / poem / film / book / superhero, etc., what would you be?

  • Do you have a “big project”?

  • What is your greatest achievement?

  • What would your dream job be (what experience, qualities and skills do you have that prove to me you are capable of doing that job)?

  • What is your opinion about (news item)?

  • What is your idea of a fun day?

  • If you won a million Euros at the national lottery, what would you do with it?!

  • If you were banned to a desert island and could only take 5 things with you, what would they be?

  • If you had power, what would you do with it?

  • What are the most important things in your life?

  • What is the greatest concert you have ever been to / meal you have ever had / holiday you have ever been on / discovery or invention ever made, etc.?

  • If I could grant you three wishes, what would they be?!

  • What are your hobbies?
